Sizing & Fit
How do your sizes run?
Our pieces fit true to size. We design with a snug-but-not-tight performance fit in mind — leggings stay put through squats and lunges, tops sit close enough for layering without gripping.
If you’re between sizes, size down for activewear (you want it close to the body) and size up for sweatshirts and hoodies (room for layers).
What size am I?
Each product page has a "Size guide" link with body measurements (bust, waist, hip) for every size from XS through XL. Compare against measurements taken close to the skin.
Still not sure? Email us at info@richesabode.com with your usual size in another brand and we’ll point you to the right one.
Are the leggings squat-proof?
Yes. We test every legging release through full range of motion — squats, lunges, hip bridges — at the recommended size. The fabric is opaque from the front, side and back. If a piece doesn’t pass, it doesn’t ship.
Materials & Care
What are your pieces made of?
Activewear is built on a premium polyamide-elastane blend with four-way stretch and moisture-wicking properties. Loungewear and sweats use a brushed cotton-blend interior for that soft-touch feel. Exact fibre breakdowns are listed on each product page under Details.
How should I wash them?
- Machine wash cold (max 30°C) on a gentle cycle
- Wash inside-out to protect prints and stitching
- No fabric softener — it breaks down stretch fibres
- Hang dry — never tumble dry
- No ironing on prints
Treated this way, our pieces hold their shape and colour for years.
Where are your products made?
Riches Abode is a Portuguese brand designed in Lisbon. We work with mills and partners that take fabric seriously — premium materials chosen for how they wear over time, not how they look on the rack.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
All deliveries are made by CTT. From the day your order is dispatched:
- Portugal continent: 2 working days
- Madeira & Açores: 2 working days
- Spain (peninsula): 2 working days
- Rest of EU: 3–5 working days
- UK, Switzerland, Norway: 3–5 working days
- USA & Canada: 5–10 working days
- Rest of world: 7–14 working days
Orders placed before 2pm WET on a working day are shipped the same day. Weekend and holiday orders ship on the next working day.
How much does shipping cost?
Most Riches Abode orders weigh under 1 kg, so you get the lowest rate at checkout. Heavier orders are calculated automatically.

- Madeira & Açores: €8,75 — free over €100
- Spain (peninsula): €7,40 — free over €100
- Rest of EU: €19,20 — free over €100
- UK, Switzerland, Norway: €25,20 — free over €100 (duties may apply)
- USA & Canada: €39,00 — free over €200 (duties may apply)
- Rest of world: €42,00 — free over €300 (duties may apply)
Can I track my order?
Yes. The moment your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link. If you create an account at checkout, you can also see all order history at any time under My orders.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — worldwide. Customers outside the EU may be subject to import duties or local taxes on delivery. These are set by the destination country and aren’t included in your order total.
Returns & Exchanges
What’s your return policy?
You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to request a return or exchange. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition with all labels attached.
We can’t accept returns on items that have been washed, worn or have removed labels — so try things on indoors before going out.
How do I return something?
Email info@richesabode.com with your order number and what you’d like to return, and we’ll confirm the return address and instructions.
Return shipping is paid by the customer — please use a tracked service, as we can’t be responsible for returns lost in transit. Once we receive and check the item, your refund is processed within 5 working days back to the original payment method.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, subject to stock. Email us at info@richesabode.com with your order number and the size you’d like instead, and we’ll arrange it. The process and the customer-pays-return-shipping rule are the same as for returns.
What if my item is faulty?
If something arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, send a photo and your order number to info@richesabode.com within 7 days of delivery. We’ll replace it or refund you in full, including the return shipping.
Account & Orders
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. But creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses, and re-order favourites in one click.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Email us within 1 hour of placing your order at info@richesabode.com. Once an order has been packed and dispatched, we can’t cancel — but you can return it once it arrives.
Do you do gift cards?
Yes — digital gift cards are available on the site, in any amount, delivered by email instantly or scheduled for a date you choose.
